Silver and Turquoise Board of Hostesses

The Silver & Turquoise Ball is one of Tucson’s longest running community celebrations. The Ball started in 1950 as a pot luck party at the home of Isabella Greenway, the founder of the Arizona Inn, given to thank the volunteers of the Tucson Festival Society for their hard work. The Ball has grown over the years into a beautiful gala but our mission remains the same: thanking those who have contributed to our community and celebrating Tucson’s rich culture and heritage.

Proceeds from the Silver and Turquoise Ball support the preservation of Tucson’s historical traditions. Our current beneficiary is San Xavier del Bac Mission and its restoration. Founded in 1692 and located just south of Tucson, the “White Dove of the Desert” is instantly recognizable and a national historic landmark.

We look forward to celebrating our treasured Silver & Turquoise Ball at the Arizona Inn on May 7th, 2022.
